Improve Communications, Engage Staff, and Reduce Risk

EDIN, the Employee Digital Information Network is a highly effective tool for managing information for employees and staff. Essentially a digital signage solution that addresses the unique needs and issues of corporate information distribution, EDIN allows organizations to improve communication between staff and administration, promotes employee involvement in training and events, as well as reduces the risk of employee grievances by promoting a more unified and peaceful work environment.

Several Areas of information can be addressed by the EDIN solution:

  • Videos – corporate promotional and co-promotional videos can be re purposed into the EDIN solution. This allows marketing material to be re purposed in a new and cost effective way.

  • Social media postings – This allows those not familiar with social media, and those without accounts to read and interact with the corporate social media postings.

  • State, local, corporate, and union required postings - Although they have these posted in the HR department, you may want them on your EDIN as well.

  • Job opportunities - This helps the administration meet their union posting or corporate posting requirements for jobs. By posting the positions in this way, the administration has a digital record of when, where, and for how long the job was posted in the break areas for each department; thus helping them to avoid arbitration and litigation.

  • Information crawl- A highly effective way to get out general info on daily happenings, current events, and the warm-fuzzy announcements like birthdays. This may also be fed by a live news feed as well.

  • Upcoming Events and Announcements - This section replaces all the paper fliers each department was creating and distributing. (costing paper, ink, and time)  Each department simply provides the point man of the EDIN network the informaion, and he/she formats and places the info into an area on the screen. One side benefit they discovered is that making corrections to dates and times is much easier digitally than having to reprint 1500 fliers for an event that got moved/postponed.

  • Live TV Feed- Attaching the EDIN to coaxial cable or a satellite box enables the solution to stream live television. This is very useful during natural disasters or national events.
